Back on track.

Well have had a good day today went 100cal over on my cals but still pretty good. Had a lovely afternoon worked until 2pm then came home and did my workout while the girls got changed an packed their lunch. We then threw our roast in the oven and headed to the beach which was beautiful can not believe the amazing summer tassie has had this year and really wish it could go on forever.

We have decided on our kitchen redesign and and our wonderful friend is going to start building it tomorrow. I can not wait I am going to end up with a new huge walk in pantry and the fridge we have picked out is so cool. 3 separate bins for fruit and veggies which will be so much easier to organise and things wont get lost in the bottom of it.

We are using the same colours as the link and actually the design is going to be pretty similar also. We will have a pantry in the back left and where they have a fruit bowl is actually under the widow for us and will have our sink in it. Will have to do some before and after photo's, it is going to be wonderful!

Tomorrow is our busy afternoon and then netball so that is a workout in itself. I finish at 2pm then drop neeks at dancing for 3.15 and run Gabs and her little friend out to Netta training help with that then pick neek up on the way back through town at 4pm, drop gabbys friend home, get Gabs to gymnastics for 4.30 then cook dinner for everyone Hayden will pick Gabs up from Gym then Chloe plays Women's netball at 6.30 me at 8.30 and Hayden plays vollyball. My life is crazy but so wonderful at the same time ;-)

Bad weekend (but actually pretty awesome ;-)

Well I have had a great weekend but pretty much dropped the ball nutrition wise.

Lost 900g when I weighed in which put me just in the 56's (56.9) and 24cm total and I think I just decided well that will do!! I missed working out on Thursday and Friday and pretty much ate what ever (mind you I did unconsciously  eat better e.g when we had a bbq Saturday night I just cut the round piece off my scotch to eat and had it in 1 slice of bread not 2). Exercise on Saturday and today was good though felt really strong and fit so I am hoping to fix my diet again this week and keep going on the exercise. I hope that maybe I will stay the same this week but realistically I think I will be looking at about a 300g gain.

On a happier note I cut 20 sec of my 1km time and can not smash out the full pushups which I never thought I would be able to do.

Focusing again this week and hoping to be back in the 56's by next Wednesday.

On the home front both the little girls did a great job at their sports carnival, Gabs won every race and neeks placed second in all of hers so proud of them both. Heading over Thursday to watch them at the inter primary in the 800, 100 and relay and can not wait. Chloe has been back to her beautiful self this week end (not the horrible teenage creature that has been hanging around here lately) and it just made for such a great weekend.

Friday night was spent at the beach than I made the girls sourvlakis and Hayden made us yummy home made seafood pizza, Saturday Hayden went to work then we had a BBQ for tea, sushi for lunch so I think cals would have been ok. Sunday we went for a bike ride with the Atkinson's at Wynyard then down to boat harbour. The kids swam from 3.30 - 6.45 when we dragged them out we didn't swim but watched them from the surf club and had a couple of drinks and we had pizza for tea (whoops) and a couple of skinny girl margarita's so a terrible day food wise. Today the public holiday I smashed out the exercise then had egg & avocado on toast, a chicken wrap, we went to the movies and saw Oz (with popcorn ;-() then home made meatloaf (224 cals from the simply 2 good to be true books) and a skinny cow so today would have been so so.

When I write it all down I feel like I can just let it go, it has been such a great weekend and even though i might gain this week I will just re focus and move forward. I feel blessed to have the wonderful family and friends that I do and am getting so much stronger and more confident!!

12wbt Going strong and loving it!!!

Well after a few bad days last week I have to say I have been totally focused and driven this week. I feel like results are actually starting to show especially on my stomach previously I was feeling so uncomfortable and disgusted with myself but now my cloths are getting loser and I am feeling so pleased with myself. My loss on Wednesday was 600g which was a little bit disappointing but given the start to the week not surprising but a loss is a loss so anyway.


Friday was a BBQ for a birthday party and I went really easy on the calories during the day totalling 373 then had a plate of salad, small steak, 4 small pieces of crumbed tuna and did not touch the B'day cake!! So I am sure I would have been fine. I even said no to wine (unheard of) and had soda water. Every other day I have stayed under so hopefully made up for last week. 

Exercise has gone really well and I can confidently say that I have completed more than the program asked. Friday night was an interesting one Hayden had beach vollyball and his Mum took the kids down to watch so I decided to run down that continue along the highway towards Yolla where the birthday party was being held. I asked Anieka and his mum to let him know. All went well ran past them at the beach (4km) in feeling great and waved and smiled pointing towards the highway and got a big thumbs um from Hayden. Felt really great even though it was extremely humid was hoping to do 6 if I had time. Well 6 came and went the 7 the 8 at 8.85km they roll up along side me. Hayden thought I was coming back!!! Good then at least I had done my training!!

Had a great day off exercise today and spent it going on a 7km lazy bike ride with the little girls and Hayden then an hour long (attempted) surf with Neeks and I have to say that the attempted surf was the most hard core thing I have done all week. No wonder surfers have the bodies that they do!


Can't wait to get on the scales on Wednesday and am hoping to possibly lose a a whole kg which will put me 2.3away from my goal. Hayden and I are going to try and get up at 6am tomorrow and do the work out, hill sprints here I come , ahhhhhhhhhh 

I am a disaster!!

Well I am a disaster at the moment. I have had a crappy end to week one and start to week 2 ;-( very disappointed in myself but keen to get back on track.

In saying all that some of it was out of my control and I think I will still have lost weight when I weigh in tomorrow and more importantly I had an awesome weekend with my family.


Saturday we had a bit of a sleep in and then I smashed my Saturday session actually love it. I made myself a watermelon, strawberry and yogurt to eat in the car on the way to Launie. I went and had my pedicure (bliss) while Hayden and the girls looked for shoes. We then had lunch at the monkey park and much to all of our delights there were babies!! I had a the chicken guacamole wrap but just skipped the wrap and had it as a salad and it was delicious.





 We then went to the aquatic centre and had a great time. Dinner was a chicken burger from burgers got soul and I have made it 600 cals as it was chicken breast, wholemeal roll, tomato and lettuce so I really don't think it would have been to bad. We had a wonderful time and headed to the Launceston Gorge to eat it even though we had already been swimming after our walk the girls could not help themselves and went swimming again!! We stopped and had a milk shake on the way home but I had no ice cream, skim milk and half a squirt of syrup(maybe 350 calls. My cals came to 1411 so with me only using 1026 on the Friday I had done pretty well. We were home really late like about 11pm so I did not make it to Bev's 60th but had such a lovely time with the family.


Sunday was the day off for exercise. We did all of those boring jobs early, ironing, grocery shopping yuck. I had the egg and bacon wrap and for lunch the ham an corn relish wrap for lunch so I was going well. In the afternoon we headed to table cape to go in the light house and it was brilliant the kids loved it then down to boat harbour for a body board. I had not every realised but Hayden had never caught a wave and I am so proud to say he caught 4 and actually enjoyed it. Hope fully it will make him want to go to the beach more ofter. This is where it all went pear shaped!! We called in at killinaught and had a 2 drinks each (champers for me) this was fine and fitted with my calories.







We were asked to call in at my sil for a bbq we opened another bottle and i had 2 sausages in bread so cals were way over. The worst bit was I woke up so sick the next day, it can not have been a hangover and I have had a dodgy tummy for the last few weeks so I think it just all caught up with me,  but I was the sickest I have ever been vomited all day and could not move. When Hayden got home from work at 6pm all I felt like was Mcdonalds so he got me a large cheese burger meal and 2 cokes 2000 calls!!! They only good thing was it stopped me vomiting but I was unable to do any exercise.

Today Tuesday I am back on track I am going to end up on 1000 cals so made back a tiny bit from yesterday and completed the fitness video and absolutely smashed myself. I am disappointed that I have not done my best this week but I think I will still have results when I get on the scales tomorrow just not the awesome ones I was hoping for.

12wbt week 1 day 5

Hmm well after saying how great I felt yesterday today wasn't a great day. Woke up feeling really tired, headache and nauseous. I managed to get about half my breaky down and head off to work. I stayed feeling the same way until about 3pm when than goodness I started to feel better. Mind you when a coworker came in with hot chips at lunch it was exact ally what I felt like.

Very proud of myself that I have held strong and had a kept in my calories. Completed my exercise when I got home from work then finished of by running while the family drove down to watch my husband and eldest play beach volly ball so added an extra 5km run for today. Might have been silly when I was feeling blah earlier but between that and a body board with my girlies it really pepped me up.

Hoping for a better day tomorrow feelings wise I am just flat! I am a little worried about the food for tomorrow because we are headed to launie for a shop and I have a 60th to attend tomorrow night but I am going to try my hardest to keep the calories under control.

12wbt Week 1 Days 2,3 & 4

Well have to say I am loving it!!! I just feel so positive and in control

The foods is delicious, I am really enjoying pushing myself with the exercise and feel like I am not taking time away from my family.

The Tuesday toning session went well, I finished work at 2pm got home ate lunch and then completed it in the back yard. The girlies arrived home from school and I was able chat with them about their days (didn't matter that I was huffing like crazy) we then went for a lovely swim. My dinner was amazing and I had a lot of jealous people at my house, I will be making the mushroom sauce for them very soon. And lets not forget the fact that I made all of us the Apple Tart for dessert OMG they are amazing.

Wednesday was a lovely surprise I had lost 700g since Sunday morning, could not be happier it means I am only 3.9kg from my weight goal 55kg - a lot further away in centre metres but I am determined. I did not complete the training as I had netball. It was the hardest game I have every played! Played 1 quarter of WD and the rest C. The thing that made it so hard was that for the 3 centre quarters. I played for the very first time in women's on my daughter Chloe aged 14 and my god she is fast. I am talking winning not just her school cross country and 1500m but also the representative NW events. She ran me ragged and I certainly completed the 30 minutes running and 8x 30 sec sprints in my program. Wish I could have worn my garmin, I have hidden in my sock once before and completed 6.5km. Can not believe it but our olds Mums team beat the young fit one by 3. It was a great feeling and Chlo took it like a champ. I did do the extra squats and abs when I got home as that is my real problem area. The Potato, Spinach & Feta Tortilla was delicious the only change I will make for next time is to change the potato's to sweet potato.

Today has been another great day. Had one Banana Bruschetta because I just could not stomach 2 and the whole banana enjoyed the left over tortilla for lunch and because I had a late lunch did not have my afternoon tea. The Char-grilled Beef with Avocado & Corn Salsa was amazing and will probably be used again if a recipe comes up that I don't like the look of, I used some of my left over calories to have extra avocado and corn which I love. My toning was completed while the girlies played on the slip and slide in the back yard so I still felt engaged with them. Once the girls were in bed Hayden and I went for a romantic walk to woolies to get a skinny cow icecream biscuit (with my left over cals, I love the fun of working it all out). Oh and I officially have the best hubby in the world, he surprised me with a beautiful bunch of flowers xxxxxxxx Cals 1203


Not sure where I am going to put my exercise tomorrow. Hayden has beach vollyball straight after work which we will all go and watch. I could do it on the beach before the girls and I have a body board but I would feel silly. It would be ok if it was a a running day! So I might just do it late tomorrow night. I am just not a morning person!
